Since the projects inception, Tech Ridge has made a commitment to create a lasting public benefit for the City of St. George and citizens of the community. Amenities like The Stairs, the Rim Trail, the Pavilion, and ongoing hillside repair reflect our focus on access, community use, and improving a shared landscape.
The Scar
Tech Ridge is partnering with the City of St. George to repair the long-visible hillside scars near the historic “D.” This first phase focuses on restoring the eyebrow scar with natural materials and vegetation, building on Tech Ridge’s ongoing commitment to public benefit. The larger scar will follow after more detailed engineering and planning. The historic “D” will not be disturbed.
The Stairs
The The Stairs at Tech Ridge are a unique, publicly accessible staircase built by Tech Ridge Management to transform a former drainage scar into a vibrant community amenity. With 333 concrete steps climbing 171 feet over 630 feet of length, the stairs offer residents and visitors a challenging, scenic workout, an alternative transportation path, and a gathering place with panoramic views of St. George. By creating this stairway, Tech Ridge turned necessary infrastructure into a long-term public benefit—promoting health, community connection, and enhanced outdoor access for all.
Rim Trail
The Tech Ridge Rim Trail is a 3-mile scenic loop designed as a major public amenity for St. George. Built to improve walkability, outdoor recreation, and community connection, the trail transforms the ridgeline into accessible green space for residents, workers, and visitors while linking to other public features like The Stairs.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion at Tech Ridge is a dedicated public gathering space designed to bring the community together through events, recreation, and everyday use. Positioned along the ridgeline, it provides a shaded, scenic place for residents, visitors, and workers to meet, rest, and enjoy the surrounding landscape – reinforcing Tech Ridge’s commitment to meaningful public amenities.
