Isaac Barlow provides the overall leadership and strategy development for Tech Ridge. In consultation with other tech company leaders in southern Utah, Isaac worked closely with city officials in St. George to craft the vision for what became Tech Ridge.
He is also the CEO of busybusy, a leading construction job site intelligence software. Isaac spent over 20 years in construction management before starting busybusy.
His passion for systems and processes fueled his entrepreneurial drive and led directly to his vision for Tech Ridge; a special place where tech companies flourish and the talented people who propel them work, play and live.
Allen Angell is the Director of Marketing and leads the branding, marketing, and sales efforts for Tech Ridge. As a successful tech-company entrepreneur, he knows well the opportunities and challenges facing sophisticated business owners and understands that skilled, happy and motivated employees are critical to success.
Allen founded Haiku Learning, Inc. in 2006, the leading learning management system software for K-12 schools. He moved to southern Utah in 2016 when the company was acquired by PowerSchool, LLC. Before that Allen was the director of sales for another tech company after spending a decade as the director of marketing for a non-profit agency; both in the midwest.
Allen graduated from Goshen College (IN) with degrees in Communication and Business and attended business school at IU.
Dave Nilsson is the General Manager and oversees development on Tech Ridge. Dave has participated in the planning, capitalization, development and management of master-planned communities, mixed-use urban projects, hospitality, resort development, retail centers, multi-family projects, office buildings and more.
He began his career as an investment banker and later provided structured financing and equity placements to public and private corporations. He then served as a partner and principal of an integrated real estate company focused on urban infill mixed-use properties. Later, Dave directed an award-winning master planned community; overseeing entitlements, home design & production, and finance for the land development and homebuilding operations.
Dave earned a degree in Economics from BYU and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from the School of Urban and Regional Planning at USC.
